The results of my experimental screen printing earlier this semester.
Mix of traditional screen printing, printing with bleach, bleach splatters, and hand dyed paper.
The codes were printed in white before dying the paper, which created codes that cannot be scanned (they would pull up the lyrics to “Ghost” by Ingrid Michaelson). I wanted the information to seem so easily available, but just out of reach so that the viewer could experience and identify with some of the frustration expressed in the song.
